SIMPLY SUPREME SPINACH DIP RECIPE:
For even distribution, mix contents well before each use.
2 Tablespoons dip mix
1 cup mayonnaise
2 cups sour cream
1-10 oz. Package frozen spinach, thawed
1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
Thaw spinach, squeeze dry. Combine dip mix, mayonnaise, sour cream and lemon juice, mix well. Add spinach and stir until blended. Chill several hours or overnight.
Makes 4-5 cups
HOT & GOOEY ARTICHOKE DIP:
1 Tablespoon Gigi Ann’s Spinach Dip Mix
1- 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1-14 oz. can artichoke hearts, drained, chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350°. Beat cream cheese and all remaining ingredients with an electric mixer until smooth. Spoon into 9 inch quiche dish or pie plate. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and hot. Serve with assorted cut up vegetables, bread or crackers.
